Im deutschsprachigen Raum verlieren z. B. Banken, trotz langjähriger Kundenbindung, nach Todesfällen, bis zu 75% Ihrer Kunden beziehungsweise deren Erben, weil Bankerinnen und Banker in der Situation nicht angemessen und wenig empathisch agieren. Neben dem Kundenverlust schlagen sich die gewaltigen Mittelabflüsse in Millionenhöhe unweigerlich auf den Ertrag nieder. Die Höhe der Reputationsschäden ist hier nicht berechnet.</p>
